Operetta 'Vaftistikos' ...

Don’t miss out on the shows of Greek operetta ‘Vaftistikos’ aka ‘The Godson’ by Theofrastos Sakellarides. I’ll be singing the main role of…Vivika – i love this name! with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra and conductor Giorgos Aravidis, as part of the KYPRIA International Festival 2011. The rest of the soloists are mezzo soprano Vivien Cooksley, tenor Nikos Stefanou and baritone Michalis Katsoulis, all joined by ‘Aris’ choir of Limassol.

I hope that you had a nice summer. Mine was good, eventful and very emotional. I’m so happy to be learning an operetta role, it’s such beautiful music and I look forward to the shows! I’ll write again soon with more news about my forthcoming performances.
